Did you know that your choice of hotel for the CSCC Annual Conference has a direct impact on the association? In order to secure sufficient meeting space for the conference we must guarantee a minimum number of bedroom bookings by our delegates. Although we understand that making your reservations outside of the CSCC block can sometimes be more economical, it may cause the association to have to pay a penalty for unbooked rooms within the contracted room block, which over time will result in higher conference registration fees. Please assist the CSCC by making your hotel reservation in the official conference block at the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reservations:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A block of guestrooms has been reserved at the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel. All participants in the conference are required to make their own accommodation arrangements directly with the hotel. Please indicate Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists<\/em> when reserving your room. The conference rate will be available on a first-come\/first-serve basis and once the block is full the rate is not guaranteed. If there are any remaining unbooked rooms on May 1, 2018,<\/span> they will be released for general sale and the special conference rate will not be available after that time.<\/p>\n

Parking:<\/strong>
\nPlease note that the garage at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier is closed, guests that will be staying overnight and require parking can do so with Valet Service only. Anyone coming for the day only will need to park across the street at the conference center or shopping mall. There are also many other places available to park in downtown Ottawa.<\/p>\n
