Curtis Oleschuk

Curtis Oleschuk is Clinical Biochemist (FCACB) and Forensic Toxicologist (FABFT) with Shared Health Manitoba and is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Child Health and Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He specializes in drugs of abuse testing, which includes interpretation of clinical and post-mortem toxicology testing. Dr. Oleschuk earned his PhD from Queen’s University in Pharmacology (2004) and Toxicology and completed a Clinical Biochemistry Fellowship at McMaster University (2006). In addition to teaching in undergraduate medicine, Dr. Oleschuk continues to work with governmental agencies on the role toxicological testing in dealing with opioid crisis in addition to other drugs of abuse.
