Provincial Court Judge New Brunswick
Lucie Mathurin, is a provincial court judge with the province of NB. She received her law degree from Université de Moncton in 2000, admitted to NB Bar in 2001 and prior to that a degree Sports and Recreation Management at Acadia University in 1997. Before her recent appointment in June 2017, she was a crown prosecutor (criminal) with the province for 12 years. She also worked with Securities Commission, Legal Aid office and the Law firm of Gorman Nason before joining the crown office. During her time as a crown prosecutor, she had the opportunity to be part of the education process with different enforcement agencies and the crown/defense seminars. On a personal side, she enjoys spending time playing soccer, hockey, running, paddleboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, cruising on her motor bike, and spending time seeing the world with Dave and hiking with her dog Oakley!!
