CPD Requirements for Your Presentation

At the beginning of your presentation, you must verbally notify the audience of any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest that may have a direct bearing on the subject matter of the program. As well, at the beginning of your presentation you must identify the learning objectives specific to your presentation which should also be inserted into your slides – click here to download a sample Disclosure Slide. If you are a speaker in a session with multiple presenters, please also review the overall learning objectives for the session that have been provided by the Chair.

Your presentation requires a minimum of 25% of interactivity. You may choose a variety of formats for interactivity, e.g. case studies for the presentation, small group activities within workshops, or of course, question and answer periods.

Feedback will be solicited from the participants and will include and evaluation of clarity, organization, value, achievement of learning objectives for each session. You will receive a summary of your evaluation following the event, for your CV and/or teaching and academic portfolio.
